About the design:
The Min Min light is a night time phenomenon described as glowing spheres hovering or bouncing above the ground. These lights have been reported by many travellers, and truck drivers travelling through Kalkadoon country, and the awareness of the Min Min has been passed down by the Kalkadoon people for hundreds of years.
I personally have not come across anyone that can explain the phenomena of the Min Min lights, but my Nan suggested that it would not be wise to follow the Min Min…. Nan was the first person to tell me about the Min Min when I was still young. The first time I painted my interpretation of the Min Min light was for an exhibition in Warrington, U.K. Since then it has appeared in many of my paintings.
