Justin Ronberg, also known by his Aboriginal name Iggy, is an artist deeply rooted in the cultural heritage of Central Australia. Born in Mbantua (Alice Springs), he draws inspiration from his Aboriginal Stolen Generation mother and his extensive family connections to the bush. His artistic practice encompasses a diverse range of creations including paintings, didjeridus, boomerangs, painted surfboards, and carry bags.

Ronberg works primarily with acrylic and ochre, employing traditional dot painting techniques that vividly express the landscapes, dreamings, and stories of hunting and gathering from his homeland. His artworks reflect a strong connection to the Australian outback, capturing the rhythm of nature and the seasonal movements of dance within his country.

Encouraged by his family from a young age, Justin developed his artistic talents alongside his skills as a didjeridu performer and teacher. Throughout his career, Ronberg has participated in cultural events and festivals both in Australia and internationally, with his work exhibited in museums and galleries across Europe and the USA. His artistic journey is a continuous expression of cultural heritage, connecting traditional Aboriginal themes with contemporary artistic practice.
