During this part of the songline instead of looking up through the trees we look through our cusped hands toward Yengo Mountain in front of us, created when Biame placed his foot atop and flattened the mountain (Wollombi in Hunter Valley).
Traditionally a place for gatherings and trading, this shows people coming together from all lands. As we journey from all nations (blue from the coast, pink from the desert and green from the bush).
This is also symbolic that we hold the earth in our hands and all who tread over these lands are caretakers.
The mangrove trees and totem eagle in the sky are symbolic of how nature is connected to the land and the delicate balance in our care.
