FISH - Foundation for Indigenous Sustainable Health

Cinnamon Myrtle is another member of the Myrtaceae family which lemon myrtle is a part of. The glossy green leaves are rich in oil and timber, which is very strong, was used traditionally by the Aboriginal culture for tools and weapons.

Cinnamon Myrtle's fragrant foliage can be added anywhere cinnamon is used. The leaves have a pleasant spicy cinnamon-like aroma and flavour.

Add to curries, stews and rice dishes (wonderful in steamed rice). Mix with lemon myrtle and chilli and add to breadcrumb mix.

Can also be used in biscuits, sweets and slices. Cinnamon Myrtle makes a calming medicinal tea.
