The Lemon Myrtle is a beautiful Australian shrub, whose leaves have been used by Indigenous Australians for years.

Lemon myrtle is used in food to enhance flavour and aroma it has a delicious lemongrass-like flavour and aroma of lemon verbena. Lemon Myrtle is used in making dips, sauces, salads, curries and cooking chicken, fish, prawns, etc. Add towards the end of cooking, so it is not cooked for more than 10-15 minutes, as any longer than this will dilute the delicate lemon notes.

It is also used in confectionaries for making breads, cakes, desserts, etc. Apart from food it is used in skin care products like lotions, lip balms, etc.
